Relative success comes to those who wait: amassed almost $13,000 on each of its three New York screens this weekend, for the highest per-screen average of any film that opened on Friday. According to Box Office Mojo’s weekend estimate chart, of the top 53 films in release, only Blade Runner: The Final Cut scored a higher per-screen average, and Ridley Scott’s do-over is only on two screens.
