Although, I was in elementary school. Several friends of mine and me were entranced by the amazing tale a fellow a student unraveled before us. According to him, hover boards had been invented (however, they were not used in the <i>BTTF</i> films) and would be released--due to legalities--in the year 2001, just after my twenty-first birthday. I recall feeling betrayed that I wouldn't get to enjoy the hover boards as a child and that I probably wouldn't care to own one as an adult. Oddly enough, this discussion was held over a table filled with contemporary items we would soon place in a time capsule for a school project.
