Nice review, but a little research would be nice. It's Grawp, not "Grop". Cho's surname is "Chang". JK Rowling has never sued a fan, the lawsuit against the publication of the Unofficial Lexicon was against the Editorial, not the author (who now has published a revamped version that's not just copy-paste of Jo's books), and Melissa Anelli not only won't be sued, Jo Rowling loved her book and wrote a foreword to it.

And this being "a great time in literary history" is certainly not an overstatement: how many times before has a book been this, for lack of a better word, big? Only a few. This is the moment when readind is "cool", when people find a healthy way of expresin themselves, of displaying their creativity, meeting new people, and trying new things.

You may like or dislike the books themselves, but there's no denying that this is a big time in literary history, the kind that makes History books an interesting read.

The suit against the Lexicon was warranted. Haven't read Anelli's book yet but looking forward to it.

The Wizard Rockumentary was shot primarily at Wizard Rock shows and several of the HP symposiums. It details the growth of Wizard Rock as well as Wrockers and fans' thoughts on the 7th book (which was as yet unreleased during filming). It is an excellent documentary. The site is: http://www.wizardrockumentary.com

The law suit against the lexicon book was justified. The book basically copied all of J.K.Rowling's work with very little of its own commentary.
Melissa Anelli's book (it is out now and it is called Harry, A History) is an amazing book all about how the Harry Potter books gained their awesomely crazy fan base. And i really doubt that she will be sued by anyone for her book, seeing as J.K.ROWLING wrote a forward for her book!

In the Harry Potter fandom the "famous" fans(or the fans who have fans) are the ones to go to for the information about it. If you go to WB they will have a different perspective then of the true fans, and the fact that the documentary interviewed these people who are right in the middle of the fandom, makes it very substantial as a film about Harry Potter fans.

Interesting about that movie - is the filmmaker going to make some money off it? If he is, I hope he has some attorneys on retainer, and hopefully an offshore bank account. Because WB is lurking "out there" somewhere, and they are thinking about their piece of the pie.
