YesButNoButYes points to the Peeps Film Festival, a series of YouTube remakes of classic films (and also 300) starring the marshmallow bane of Easter season. There are twelve shorts; the three that I’ve watched, including the take on King Kong embedded above, aren’t spoofy-funny as much as they’re bizarre, a little creepy, and at times, sort of beautiful.
