I have to advocate the fact that everyone has a right to critique one a piece of work, but your interpretation of the film is so far-fetched that i reckon it gives film-critics a bad name.

You'd wish me to elaborate on that? I don't wanna waste my time.

Sir or ma'am, with all due respect, you are an idiot. "Self-congratulation"? What in the hell are you talking about? That some have figured it out? The privatization of war and murder is perhaps the single most important issue of our day and is the trend of the future. If soul-less, chicken shit armchair warriors like you share in this vision you are nothing more than an cog in the wheel of this evil. Whether or not you like this movie, it is despicable to put a partisan spin on it and categorize it into a "lefty" genera without even paying lip service to its most profound point.

This is very disappointing. Is a sharp, terrific and devastating satire of the world as it is really so much to hope for?

I think "Across the Universe" is more likely to end this war than any other film.
