In a description that Wells might use himself, he likes to fancy himself an Ahead-of-the-Curver, but this is pushing it.

Having said that, I hope he's right. Not necessarily about the Lawrence comparisons, but I hope his enthusiasm is well placed. I want these movies to rock my world.

Doesn't Soderbergh still owe Mark Cuban four or five more small DV works ala Bubble? As for thoughts on massive two part epics and their box office failures, one need only think of the pair of Flags of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima. They make an awesome double feature, but they didn't exactly light up the box office. In terms of interest, I would put my money around those numbers.
