Cartoon Network needs this feedback! I have already sent them a note with my opinion. Use the link that I posted at the cartoonnetwork.com site to contact them. In the end, isn't it the viewers who really should dictate what is produced? If you don't ask, they'll never know.

I vote for "Speed Buggy..." After the smashing success of "Cars," it seems like this could be a success, too. I suppose it's all in the marketing and story-writing. Like anything, it could also be a tremendous flop. I'm guessing that with cars on our collective mind lately, we still might have a pretty decent appetite for a talking car flick. I think the stories and premise of the original series are different enough from those of the "Cars" movie that it wouldn't seem like an egregious knock-off of "Cars," at least if they are careful not to mess with the original idea too much. (Like Mr. Campbell noted, all of the HB Scooby-clones followed the same character and plot recipe. If it works, keep doing it and beat it to death until it doesn't work anymore!)

Looking at the HB Wikipedia entries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatrically-released_films_based_on_Hanna-Barbera_animations), there's another Jetson's movie coming out for 2012, and that's the last one visible in the pipeline. So, I wouldn't expect anything else before 2013. It's going to be a long wait, unfortunately. Keep pinging Cartoon Network/Time Warner with requests!

You, sir, have just mentioned "Snorks" and have, as a result, earned my eternal respect. Well done, well done.
