Sadly, he and other Catholics weren't nearly as offended by the documentary "Deliver Us From Evil," which focused on a Catholic priest who raped hundreds of children and which the church conspired to cover up and help escape justice. Although not as major a response as other films, The Golden Compass received quite a bit of publicity with Bill Donahue blasting its anti-Catholicism.
