<i>…gonna be a real Chocolate City!"</i>

I thought we already had a real chocolate city: Hershey, PA.

Honestly, Spike, your promise to be at the inauguration with your dour mug makes me all the more committed to Obama's defeat.

It's Barack Obama's supporters who really turn me off to him. Spike Lee is just another example. But there is something to be said about the relatively quick response to the Midwest flooding vs. Katrina.

He was fairly unpleasant and rude at the SFIFF Q&A a couple of years ago, I felt terrible for the moderator who seemed a little starstruck and very hurt.

Lee got a little more animated when the audience started asking questions (it was a really young group, who were very enthusiastic and sweet) but I was disappointed by how jaded he seemed. His work never feels that way.

There was nothing cryptic about the clarification. The interviewer asked him to "do the Tyler Perry story" and he said I already did, I made the movie bamboozled. Hilarious and true.
do your thing spike.
