About Brendan Fraser - that's your opinion. I find him a very talented actor who just gets bad roles. When he is given a chance, he shows he is good. He was excellent in Gods and Monsters, With Honors, School Ties, Quiet American and Crush. He was also incredibly entertaining in Mummy movies - very charismatic. And I don't care what anyone says, I can't think of five comedic actors today who could have pulled those 7 characters he pulled in Bedazzled the way he did.

While I agree Brendan Fraser's charmy goofball persona is a bit grating, he's shown some skill in films like The Quiet American and Gods and Monsters.

But you're right on the money with Jon Voigt. He was the worst part of Transformers and the whole film was crap.

You nailed it, Paul. John Voight is the inexplicable actor who bit george costanza's arm and pencil.

That's why i knew him before MI, when i was a wee lad, anyway.

Gone Baby Gone, if anything, just proved that Ben Affleck's talents lie behind the camera - not in picking projects, which he's been notoriously terrible at. Yes, he has acting chops, but even he couldn't save Gigli.

+1 on the lay-off of Ben Affleck. Hollywoodland was brilliant! And Ryan Philippe as well. Cruel Intentions? Hello? Gosford Park?

Also, Affleck actually shows some acting chops every now and again (see Changing Lanes, Hollywoodland). He just needs to lay off the movie star roles like Armageddon that earned him so much scorn in the first place.

And while I really can't defend your list, if you can't see Brendan Fraser's goofy charm for what it is, you just don't get it. He's also turned in a couple of good performances on Scrubs. He's just always seemed like a guy who somehow found himself in bigger and dumber movies than he really deserved. Could be that he likes movie star money, too.

Lay off Affleck. Gone Baby Gone proved that he contributed to Good Will Hunting in more than just a typist capacity.
