From what I recall, the book has a lot dealing with the budding romantic relationships of the characters. The trailer is focusing on young Voldemort, but the film shouldn't do that, unless it's diverting radically. But I doubt that since it's the romantic ties that become really crucial in the later books and, I assume, movies. It’s been awhile since I read the Half-Blood Prince, but plenty of it is set in the present day of the Potter storyline.
