Angelina Jolie would not be great, it would be boring. Which seems a little odd, probably, until you consider what a heavy role Gotham City played in "The Dark Knight" AND the actual origins of Catwoman (see Miller's "Batman: Year One" graphic novel). Catwoman needs to be sexy, yeah, but she sort of also needs to be kind of a street urchin. And Dawson is so fucking hardcore from-the-streets-of-New-York ("25th Hour" anyone?) while being so fucking sexy ("25th Hour" anyone?) while having a great anarchic streak that sort of suits the nature of where things are headed in Gotham after Joker's influence (perhaps a too literal, but take her role in the near unwatchable "This Revolution" of which she is the only good part of). Even if not Dawson, I think most of this list consists of far too pretty, classical screen-beautiful to really match the Batman of Nolan's movies step for step. I gotta believe she can kick ass, that she grew OUT of the streets of Gotham and is part of them, and that she can be incredibly hot while doing all of that. Rosario Dawson fits the bill for me.
