weetiger, he said unless Gerry decides to play a character like that, not that he was playing one in this movie. Try reading the article again, a little slower.

At first reading Kevin I thought that you had watched a totally different film to the one I did here in the UK, but after a second read I began to understood what you were trying to say about Gerry, the actor.
Having said that I feel Gerry deserves more clarity about his character's percieved sexuality in the film, otherwise some of the wonderful humorous script will be lost.

Rock On Gerry!

weetiger3, no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying his role as One-Two is as far as you can get from King Leonidas, UNLESS he were playing... etc etc. Maybe my language wasn't too clear, I'll fix that now. But no, I'm not saying that's the role he's playing in RocknRolla.

Mr. Kelly,
While I'm not overly crushed to know G can't "fake" an orgasm, I have to point out a glaring error in your take on the film.

"... playing a role where he’s a homosexual struggling to break free from the bounds of oppression in Middle America..."

HUH? What movie were you watching? Gerard Butler not only doesn't play a homosexual in the film (not that there's anything wrong with that) but neither it, nor his character have anything to do with Middle America.

You must have some cred to have gotten into the press conference. Seems to me you could have gotten the facts "straight".
