Having said that I feel Gerry deserves more clarity about his character's percieved sexuality in the film, otherwise some of the wonderful humorous script will be lost. Rock On Gerry! At first reading Kevin I thought that you had watched a totally different film to the one I did here in the UK, but after a second read I began to understood what you were trying to say about Gerry, the actor.

Gerard Butler not only doesn't play a homosexual in the film (not that there's anything wrong with that) but neither it, nor his character have anything to do with Middle America.
