I loved The Burrowers at TIFF. "Malick makes a monster movie" is right on target. It definitely delivers more than a lot of contemporary horror. It seems that Lionsgate will be shuffling it right to DVD sometime in the spring. Unsurprising, but it's a shame considering how beautifully it plays in a theatre. Hopefully the good word of mouth keeps up and The Burrowers finds it's deserved audience eventually.
