Become The Spirit as he fights crime from the shadows of Central City. Rescue a beautiful woman in distress; dodge the bullets of a cold hearted killer; and finally confront your arch-enemy, the Octopus, to save your beloved city.
At each step a bevy of beautiful women will bestow their gifts if you succeed. Chapter 1 and 2 are available now but the rest of the story will unfold soon.

Stephen,

I'm definitely not anti-Miller, I love his comic books. However, I think he's not a filmmaker. I didn't care for Sin City, and I've seen several long scenes from The Spirit at industry events... and what we were shown was not impressive. That's my two cents.

So without having seen Miller's film yet you anti-Miller guys know that it's a ponderous mess, insulting to the intelligence of its audience, that Frank Miller has taken this and destroyed everything good about it., Samuel L. Jackson is screaming and Ann will ask for her money back. With all do respect to your psychic abilities, I'm confident that it's going to be one hell of a good movie. I happen to love Sin City and I like what I see of Miller's The Spirit film. I don't have a problem with any of the changes he's made to it.

Amen, brother! Even when THE SPIRIT wasn't madcap it was still lighter than this ponderous mess. And it was never, ever insulting to the intelligence of its readers.

Ann, I think you're the one who sounds bitter here. Sure, everyone was skeptical about Spider-Man, but once the first bits of footage were seen, everyone shut up and enjoyed it. Frank Miller has taken this and destroyed everything good about it. I hope you enjoy a screaming Samuel L. Jackson because the only thing you'll be opening on Christmas Day will be your mouth to ask for your money back.

I've just had it with you supposed "fans of comics." If you've so prejudged this film, just don't go to it. But you know what, you said the same thing about "Spiderman" and look where that got you.

I'm going to see this and I'm not a traditional comics fan. So stay home on Christmas, open your presents, watch another episode of "Star Trek" and just quit whining. I don't want your misery to drown out the dialog.
