Seems to me that you are forgeting the dumbest looking 2009 movie of all. The Notorious B.I.G. movie. Its funny how they say it will be the biggest movie of our time but to me seems like the shittiest movie since 8 mile. But suprisingly enough, tons of people will love it.

What about Brooklyn's Finest!? Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, Wesley Snipes, Ellen Barkin, Lily Taylor, Vincent D'Onofrio, etc. Directed by Antoine Fuqua!!!! C'mon, this is worthy of anticipation. And it's World Premiering at Sundance in a few weeks, that can't be a bad thing!

I gotta say, I'm looking forward to "Julie and Julia." The book is pretty popular among my social circle, and one of the guys in the movie's art department, Greg Hill, is a KU grad (rock chalk!) who I got to interview last year for his work on "No Country for Old Men." According to him, "Julie and Julia" is supposed to switch between Julie's attempts at working her way through the Julia Child cookbook and scenes from Julia Child's own life. I'm pretty excited. Besides, if Meryl Streep and Amy Adams are involved, I'm totally there.

Oh yeah...and "Coraline" should be interesting. Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman ought to be a match made in heaven.

I'm excited for The Informant (which will be excellent) and the Friday the 13th remake (which will be terrible) with oddly equal fervor.
