		<description>It would be absolutely criminal for Wall-E to get snubbed out of a Best Picture nomination.

Another futuristic movie that should've been considered for Best Picture is Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It featured groundbreaking special effects, good acting (even from Ah-nold) and a surprisingly poignant story. It could've easily been nominated instead of Prince of Tides or Bugsy.</description>

		<description>A nice list, but Wall-E is a major blockbuster. That sets it apart from the pack. This, combined with the fact that Pixar in it's own way is "due" for an Academy win, makes me think that Wall-E will get a nod.

Perhaps this is wishful thinking. We'll see.</description>

		<description>Actually, Gilliam's cut of Brazil was the one that was released (although it's a different edit than the European version). The studio cut wound up getting released to syndicated TV. Jack Matthews' book The Battle of Brazil is a excellent summary of the whole controversy.</description>
