Goes to show you that the LEADERS OF GAYS HAVE FAILED. The GAY MOVEMENT HAS FAILED. The new leadership should simply preach "the world doesn't suffer from too much love."

Gay love in the media has been bastardized and vilified to such that it is comedic fodder for bourgeois predictably boorish imps.

The Premise of this movie and this Review has caused a funny ache in the pit of my stomach and i must go now.

Totally agree - I really enjoyed this, but I can't help thinking that they took the principals of OLD JOY and ran amok with it. Consider that its shot in the same region with the same character scheme (the maturing newlywed and the wayward old friend who shows up one day - hell, Leonard looks a LOT like Oldham with that beard), and exploiting any perceived homoerotic subtext of the former and taking it to its inevitable conclusion.

Or maybe it's just me...
