I'm just happy that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button didn't win best picture.

"Slumdog" (because, like, duh), Winslet (because after all of those noms, she has to win something, right?), and Rourke (because I heard that news of his win was leaked! On the Internet!).

idk why so many people hate CCBB so much. I think both Button and Slumdog are great movies, just two very different kinds of great movies. I really think CCBB is the GWTW of its generations: everything, the acting, the screenplay, the visuals and the directing are just great, the kind of things a great movie is made of, all rolled together into one
but I know you'll call me crazy for this

anyway, my predicted shocker for the night: Taraji P. Henson

Hathaway will NOT win for one plain, simple reason: BRIDE WARS. If it happened to Murphy, it can happen to her.

I have been hoping an upset would be in the works as I do not feel that slumdog millionaire should be considered. I could only stand to watch the first thirty minutes or so. I like Meryl Streep but would really like to see Kate Winslet or Anne Hathaway, Best Actor for me would be Brad Pitt, although I am not a big fan of his, I like him much better than Mickey Rourke or Sean Penn. That is my opinion on the oscars.

I haven't seen most of the movies nominated but I am looking forward to Angelina Jolie going totally ape-shit crazy over the fact Kate Winslet was, is, and will always be a better actress than her. I'm thinking blood will be spilled.

Brad Pitt winning best actor for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button would have to be the most upsetting surprise for anyone who gives a damn about acting.

Best Supporting Actor - Philip Seymour Hoffman

PUT IT IN THE BOOKS.

I dunno, this year seems so obvious. I think we're all pretty certain Slumdog is going to win Best Picture (undeservedly), Rourke for Best Actor (incredibly deservedly), and Ledger for Best Supporting (oh, who even cares anymore?)
