Oh, and ricky04, yes. T3 may have been a disappointment on certain levels, but there’s nothing in Transformers that’s as exciting or as well-directed as T3’s fire truck scene.

It may not be interesting to you, but this is clearly interesting to a large percentage of the film blogosphere. I don’t think of this post as nerd-bait so much as a response to the nerd’s who’ve been baited.

Alas, if a lot of blogs were instead writing about a specific documentary or foreign film, I’d actually prefer to be linking to them.

Not arguing that T4 won’t be great, cause it sure will be. But to hack on director Bay? Come on man…. Get some class. To think that Transformers wasn’t a movie that needed to be remade to establish credit in this future generation is just plain stupid. And the Lost World was bad? Last time i checked that was one of the greatest sequels to ever be done. Transformers 2 will clearly blow away T4. But that’s not taking anything away from it because it will surely be a great movie. You already stated you liked Charlie’s Angels so clearly you shouldn’t be writing about movies. And T3? wow.

Nice write-up.

Trailer is awesome. I agree that the acting is intense. Bale does what he is paid to do and he goes home. He delivers for the fans. As far as MCG goes, time will tell, but from what I have seen so far, he seems to be doing a great job. He just needs to stop talking so much and giving out so many spoilers.
