Dear Paul,
The follow up piece on BILLY THE KID was one of my most memorable interview experiences. I listened to your podcast many o nights. I think i'm one of the few people who still has not seen slum dog millionaire because of the review i heard on your show.
Anyways congrats on a good run, I'm sure what ever you are doing next will be just as good.
I'm starting to work on a new film but i am also not discussing it with the public quite yet. i hope by the time it's done i can have another conversation with you.
be well and thanks again,
jennifer

I hope I'm not the hated guy around here.

I've been listening for about six months now, and I never would have said peep about any complaints I had if I knew you were going to end. Somehow my subconscious thinks it's all my fault. Ha.

Paul, Kevin, Adam, Karina and everyone who works on the show, great job with this gem that you've built from the ground up over the last two years. I've learned a lot about films, as well as criticism. If you come back, you'll make a lot of people happy. Good luck with your mysterious art project!

Hi guys. Thanks for the time and effort put inot the show.

Alas, I too am a new listener so I hope you will keep your back catalogue of shows up for a while.

It took me a couple of shows but ulimately I found your mixture of film analysis, good humour, and general sense of fun very engaging.

You will be missed!

What a huge mistake. What a strange move. I'm pretty confused and disappointed. Ending the podcast = Epic Fail.

By the way... I loved the original jazz theme music. Remember the funny ironic episode in which listeners were to guess the line of dialogue that was scripted and inserted into the discussion. It was Paul saying (approximately) " I hate this theme music".

Your conversational tone on FilmCouch has had the effect of banishing the distance I normally feel listening to other podcasts and has inspired me to send comments a few times, which is unusual and kind of a big deal (for me). I'll miss the sense of intimacy and friendly energy you guys project. Other film podcasts tend to be either a bit academic or snarkily self indulgent in tone. Thus you are leaving a gap. So I am glad you have thrown down the gauntlet for others to continue being creative in this arena. But importantly, to be creative with the discipline to edit while maintaining a sense of discovery and joy, which is much like Juggling.
The horror host idea is a wonderful example of the kind of inspired accident (or stream of consciousness), which typified your show at it's best, and should in an ideal world will inspire someone(s) to manifest something cool!
Peace out

Man I wish I had friends so I could pick up your Podcast torch.
Great run and best of luck with your future plans. I was especially touched by your motivations behind the show. Speaking as an aspiring film-maker myself, your discussions have definitely informed my worldview.

Also, we definitely need some kind of horror host mainstream revival

Thank you for the show. I really appreciate all you have done. I will let you know that iTunes published a 4:43 audio clip that is just your theme song instead of a full show. I am now downloading the show off the site, and it seems to be the show.

Thanks for the uninterrupted theme song.

I wish you well in all your future endeavors.
