His character was a douchebag, only saved by Emma Thompson's meddling. But I could have lived with that, had it not been for the glaring omission of Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters. Sure, he wasn't recovering well from the murder of his daughter and subsequent death of his wife and that made him pretty grumpy.
