very intriguing. cage was, is, can be such a great actor, it’s nice to see him letting loose again. reminds me a little of his Vampire Kiss role, which was beyond phenomenal.

I’m amazed at all the snark rolling in from the other “critics.” Indie film needs a good c-punch from Herzog.
This is totally a high-concept goof. And I love that Herzog has a new foil in Val Kilmer. I hope that Kilmer gave Herzog Kinski-style trouble.

Cage + Herzog = a match made in heaven. For an encore I hope they do an adaptation of UNDER THE VOLCANO. That or ENTER THE DRAGON. Or both at once.
