I was almost giddy to find Mona got a nod in your intro even though she doesn't qualify for the list....she always had the best lines and was unconventional but usually pretty great. I would have to agree that the Fried Green Tomatoes grandma is up there. And while she may not stand the test of time of cool grandma's, I thought Betty White was a pretty cool g-ma in this summer's "The Proposal".

So glad Grandma's Boy made it on there somewhere! I was hoping for Doris Robert's character, Lilly, but I gotta love Grace on there.

Lilly: "You want an ice cream sandwich? They're on whole wheat with lettuce!"

'What, Grandma? You threw a priceless gem that could have made sure I never had a financial worry in my life overboard for some retarded romantic moment from your past? Gee, thanks!'

So, nix on #4, methinks. But great call on #3
