Chris,

I believe Kyle was referring to when McG was on board to direct, before he dropped out.

Bradley Cooper would be the wise choice here. I think DC comics, and especially with a character like Green Lantern, needs an unusual casting for the franchise. it seems to work better for the quality of the movies instead of boring audiences with the safer choice. go risky, go slightly unknown but deserving.

P.S.-i thought Bryan Singer did Superman Returns, not McG.

Bradley Cooper all the way. And I'm not even a big fan or anything. In fact, I'm more of a Timberlake fan, mainly because of his music, but I also give him credit for his acting, so I'm not biased against him at all.

But first, Ryan Reynolds. As far as I'm concerned, he had his chance at being 'a movie star' and has not made it as such. He doesn't seem to have the charisma to hold leading man attention, at least to me. He can be a solid character actor in the future, and I never mind seeing him, as he's pretty funny, but no, let's not 'throw away' a chance to find out something interesting about Cooper, if we can. Because we *know* Reynolds probably could, but it wouldn't be amazing.

Cooper is on an upswing in his career whereas Reynolds has at the least topped out or is even set to drop depending on Deadpool/ whatever ('Hangover' vs. Reynolds' okay 'Wolverine' and Bullocks movie) and I for one would like to give another guy a chance to shine.

Cooper is an actor, and yes we've gotten used to seeing him act all smarmy etc., but I'm sure he's the sweetest guy in the world, and could play something different if asked. Already he's proven to be more versatile than Hollywood pegged him because of his country club looks.

Timberlake I'm honestly not even considering because he doesn't fit GL in any way in my mind. Maybe it could work but I'm just not seeing it. He's not a white Will Smith, after all!

Between those three, I think they made the right choice. Justin Timberlake would make a better Wally West Flash, anyway.
